TIP: If you work on safety issues for your company, you know the importance of reminding your workers of even simple things. Reminding a worker to wear gloves or glasses, to keep items on his or her person, etc., is a major part of injury prevention. Consider using imprintable items with a standard or custom safety slogan to keep your safety message in front of your workers!

One of the cardinal rules of safety in factories, around dangerous equipment, and on construction projects is to avoid loose clothing and remove anything likely to get caught by machinery. For example, jewelry can easily be snagged and cause an injury.

It’s important to remember that the same rule applies to your safety equipment; avoid wearing items that are excessively long or are “too” strong and unlikely to break free if caught. Look for products with safety breakaways or quick-releases.
